Providing Experiential Diversity Training for Newly Appointed Managers

Since August 2022, Onward Holdings has been providing game-based training to newly appointed managers in which they can experience realistically how to make decisions when encountering the kinds of difficult problems that tend to occur in places with diverse people, and to think and engage in dialogue about these issues as the people involved in them.

The aim is to build teams where diverse people can contribute.

Reemployment System for Employees of Mandatory Retirement Age

For employees who have reached the mandatory retirement age, we have introduced a system for their reemployment, if they so wish, until they reach 65.

Shopmeisters System

A new system was established to allow highly skilled sales personnel who have reached the retirement age of 60 to continue working as 'shopmeisters' with appropriate compensation over the long term.

Employment of People with Disabilities

We are promoting the employment of people with disabilities. We assign them based on their work history, skills, and personal preferences.

Establishment of Health Management Rooms

We have introduced the Health Keeper System and have opened health management rooms (massage facilities). Under this system, companies hire visually impaired people who have national qualifications as Masseur, etc. to help employees manage their health, recover from fatigue, and prevent illness. Currently, eight Health Keepers are working at five sites of the Onward Kashiyama.
