Meister System

Onward Kashiyama has introduced a "Meister System" that enables employees who have reached retirement age to continue work with appropriate compensation over a longer term and pass on their specialized, high-level skills.

Employment of People with Disabilities

We are promoting the employment of people with disabilities. We assign them based on their work history, skills, and personal preferences.

Establishment of Health Management Rooms

We have introduced the Health Keeper System and have opened health management rooms (massage facilities). Under this system, companies hire visually impaired people who have national qualifications as Masseur, etc. to help employees manage their health, recover from fatigue, and prevent illness. Currently, seven Health Keepers are working at four sites of the Onward Kashiyama.

Introduction of "Cradle," a Service Supporting D&I Initiatives

We offer seminars on DEI and healthcare led by physicians and experts as well as healthcare support for employees and their spouses. We have also begun offering support for infertility treatments.
*DEI stands for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. It represents the concept that maximizing the diverse individual strengths of each employee in corporate management leads to greater value creation for a company.

Providing Experiential Diversity Training for Newly Appointed Managers

Since August 2022, Onward Holdings has been providing game-based training to newly appointed managers in which they can experience realistically how to make decisions when encountering the kinds of difficult problems that tend to occur in places with diverse people, and to think and engage in dialogue about these issues as the people involved in them.

The aim is to build teams where diverse people can contribute.

"D&I AWARD"

The Company has been recognized as a "Best Workplace" in the D&I AWARD certification and recognition program, which evaluates companies' efforts. This recognition was granted for our initiatives to promote active participation by women and support the balance between work and childcare/family care responsibilities.
